I’m going to start things off by letting you in on a little secret:
We are, after all, an integral part of the natural world, and, despite our incredible technological advances, we still need to abide by the rules of Mother Nature. When you think about it, most of the things that are harmful to the environment just so happen to also damage our bodies. Harmful emissions, air and water pollution, plastic waste, chemicals and toxins are just as bad for us, as they are for most other mammals. This simple principle can also be applied to our psychology – the things that make us feel calm, happy or content are generally necessary for our long-term longevity. Nature, you see, has its ways of dropping subtle (or, oftentimes – not subtle at all) hints as to what we’re supposed to be doing to thrive.
Leading a happy and positive life is intricately connected to all aspects of your daily routine. And yes, we can be somewhat content if our basic needs are met, but it goes well beyond that! We need to have not only shelter and access to a steady supply of food and water, but also a clean, positive, and uplifting environment.
A couple of years ago, I came across a few books about eco-friendliness. I got to reading, and, for the first time, I was able to truly appreciate the harm that we, as a civilisation, are doing to nature. I found myself longing for a better, cleaner and safer world. After that, it wasn’t long until I came to the conclusion that I’m actually doing myself and my entire company a disservice by not actively working towards making this dream a reality. I am, after all, an experienced business leader. And if there is one thing that business has taught me, it’s that dreams and plans will never come true unless you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and get to work.
At this point, some of you are probably thinking “This is all well and good, but what does it have to do with the whole “Kangen Water” business?”. Well, I’m glad that you asked – I was just about to get to that point!
I took my own advice, and I started small. I began gradually removing plastic products from my home, and I replaced them with sustainable and reusable alternatives.
I stopped using disposable bowls, bags, boxes, throw-away cups and cutlery, and I started carrying my own reusable straws and utensils while travelling. One thing that’s been a constant annoyance, however, has been plastic bottles. Even after discontinuing my own usage of them, they continued to be an issue – we do need to drink water outside of our homes after all. And, since cutting down on water consumption isn’t really an option (proper hydration is absolutely vital for your health and wellbeing), I started looking for alternative solutions. I’ve written extensively about the importance of drinking water on my blog – you can read the article here.
After embracing the eco-friendly lifestyle, I made a habit of visiting green living and zero-waste presentations. I try to visit every conference and workshop that I can cram into my schedule, and it has really paid off. Not only have a learned a ton about living life well, but I’ve also found answers to many of my problems, including the plastic bottles one. I present to you – Kangen Water!
Kangen is a Japanese term meaning “Return to Origin”, and the purification methodology, used for the creation of Kangen water follows the same principle. The Kangen brand offers five different types of water, suitable for a variety of tasks from cleaning and cooking, to drinking, personal hygiene and cosmetic procedures. Highly acclaimed and very popular in Japan, Kangen Water became the favourite of many high-profile business people and celebrities shortly after making its way to the western markets. Here’s a quick list of names that you might’ve heard of, who are also huge fans of Kangen Water:
To sustain optimal bodily functions, we need to maintain a certain pH balance. Sadly, a lot of the foods and beverages that we consume on a daily basis do the exact opposite – they mess with our pH balance, introducing irregular ups and downs of acidity. Drinking a few glasses of your favourite brand of (heavily carbonated) soft drinks, for example, can quickly tank your natural pH levels to dangerously acidic values.
But how can you counteract that? By increasing your intake of antioxidants! This can be anything from fresh fruits, veggies and green tea, to vitamin and mineral supplements. But what if you’re already eating plenty of fruits, yet would still like to improve your overall health and wellbeing? Well then, Kangen Water is just the thing for you!
By virtue of its alkaline ionised nature, Kangen water works to alleviate these issues, all the while improving your overall condition. Kangen Water molecules come in smaller clusters than their regular counterparts, facilitating faster and easier absorption. Choosing Kangen water will help you lead a greener, healthier and more natural lifestyle.
