A Healthy Life Is Your Most Vital Asset And Heres Why

A Healthy Life Is Your Most Vital Asset and Here’s Why

Over the last few years, I’ve done a lot of research. I have watched a ton of documentaries, I have sunk dozens of weeks into research, and I have gone through more books than I can count. All of this taught me a lot – a lot more than I could’ve ever hoped to learn by just going happily going on with my life. And don’t get me wrong here, I don’t mean to sound ungrateful or make myself look overly modest. I was, in fact, delighted and proud of how things in my life were going thus far. But there were things that I felt were missing. There were questions, gnawing at the back of my mind. And so, I eventually gave in and went in search of answers.

Hello everyone, and welcome back to my blog! Recently, as I was going through my latest articles, I realised that I never quite managed to explain my aim with this website, and I figured that I might as well give it another shot. In today’s article, I’ll briefly go over my green journey and highlight some of the more exciting things that I found along the way to a healthy life. So, without further ado, let’s get started!

With the risk of coming off as somewhat dull, I’m going to go ahead and quote a saying that I’m sure you’ve heard a thousand times already:

Health is Wealth!

We are at our most productive when we’re feeling happy have a healthy life, and this is a well-known fact. Even a simple, short-lived headache is enough to throw a spanner in the works, and dramatically decrease your productivity – both in the office and at home. When you’re not feeling well, you’re much less likely to approach things with your usual enthusiasm, and you’ll rarely be willing to give them your full, undivided attention for an extended period of time.

And don’t even get me started on the more severe issues which can result from bad habits like smoking or drinking often!

So, if you want to be productive, you need to be healthy, and to be healthy, you have to stick to the things that you naturally need – fresh air, fresh water, toxin-free foods, and so on. And this is precisely how eco-friendly living fits in the picture!

To put it plainly – the things that are bad for nature tend to be bad for us as well.

Air and water pollution, plastics, toxins and chemicals have a devastating impact on both the environment and our own health.

Once I realised this, and I put two and two together, I came to the conclusion that I simply have to turn a greener page. I had already built a decent life for myself – I had my businesses, my websites, my home and my family. But how would I enjoy all of this, if I didn’t have a healthy life? There was so much that needed to be done. I had to throw out the plastics, limit my exposure to toxins, fix my diet, and so on.

And, after thinking about it for a while, I decided to take my own advice and get to work. As I’ve mentioned on a couple of occasions in my business-related articles

Taking the time to plan out your ideas is all well and good, but once you figure things out, you need to put your plans to action, or you won’t get anywhere!

Most of my readers are already familiar with what follows, but here’s a quick summary:

  • I got rid of most commercial cleaning solutions and replaced them with natural alternatives
  • I changed plastic shopping and produce bags with cotton alternatives
  • I stopped buying disposable items altogether and opted for their reusable counterparts
  • I limited my paper consumption and digitalised most of my reading and writing (even though I still enjoy the feel and aesthetic of good-old paperback books, I try my best to consume in moderation)
  • I started exercising every morning at home
  • I fixed up my diet (I read a ton of literature on that, and let me tell you – it was quite the ride!)

Healthy Life

Eventually, I ran out of obvious things that I could improve, but I still felt like I should try and do more – both for myself and for the environment. And this is how this website came to be – I realised that, since these changes were working well for me, then maybe others would benefit from hearing about them. I began posting green living tips, tricks and advice, I wrote a few pieces on pollution, and it turned out that I was indeed making a difference. I began receiving messages on social media, people were emailing me questions and commenting on my videos. Suffice to say, I was quite happy with myself. The fact that I was gathering an audience, however, didn’t really make me feel “content” with the situation. Quite the contrary – it fuelled my desire to lead a cleaner and greener life and to set a better example. I kept searching, and, naturally – the opportunity presented itself to me.

One of my employees – a lovely lady that I had previously talked with about eco-friendliness – invited me to a presentation. It was hosted by the local representatives of a Japanese company that I had briefly heard of before (by that same lady), and they were talking about their latest innovations in the field of water purification. There, I had my first encounter with alkaline water, and I got to learn about its many benefits. A couple of quick internet searches later, I came to realise that it was exactly what I was looking for.

You see, during my research, I learned a lot about water and its importance. I’m sure that you’re familiar with the widely-known water facts, like how much of our bodies are composed of it, and what dehydration does to you, so I won’t bore you by repeating those. What initially surprised me during my research, however, was that a big portion of people not only fails to consume enough water, but they also don’t even drink it the right way. It’s such an essential thing that … we’re somehow never taught. Anyhow, I read a lot on the subject, I wrote a couple of articles with what I found (coming soon), and I felt somewhat content. Or at least I thought I was, until that presentation. After I heard what they had to say, I realised that I hadn’t even scratched the surface!

That’s not all!

Turns out that there’s a lot more to water than just drinking it at the right time and in the right way. The contents of the water (namely its pH levels) matter a great deal as well. If we want to be happy, productive, have a healthy life, our bodies need to maintain a certain balance between acidity and alkalinity. And, in a natural environment, this would be rather easy. We can get almost everything that we need from naturally-occurring sources. But when you put the various pesticides, chemicals, toxins, junk food and soft drinks into the picture, it gets complicated.

Our built-in deoxidation mechanisms begin to struggle with keeping the balance, and we can easily find ourselves in constant danger of tipping the scales. Over a short period of time, this won’t do us much harm – we’ll just feel “off”. If we don’t take the appropriate measures, however, the acidic build-up opens the door to a whole host of unpleasant possibilities.

Going to the presentation and learning about Ionised water was a win-win for me – I solved my minimalistic needs and found an excellent business opportunity at the same time. The company offers great referral programs with a wide range of benefits that anyone with an entrepreneurial mindset can appreciate. Both from a consumer (I do have one of their machines at home, and I’m delighted with it) and from a business standpoint, I’m very happy with my choice. If you’d like to learn more about and their Ionised Water machines, I’ve got an entire page on my website, dedicated specifically to their devices, which you can find by following this link and start your journey to a healthy life.

Additionally, I would like to remind you that as of this month, I am hosting health, wellness and minimalism workshops, open to everyone interested in leading a green and healthy life. For more information, please follow this link to my dedicated workshops page!

And would you look at that – we gone well-above the supposedly suggested wordcount yet again. Well, no matter – I had a lot of things to share with you today, and if it takes a couple hundred additional words, that’s all well and good by me.

As always, if you’ve got any questions, or if you think that I missed something (even though this isn’t really the type of post), don’t hesitate to let me know by leaving a comment below, or by sending me an email at info@lifestyletipsbyantoaneta.com. Additionally, if you’ve got any experiences or ideas from your own green living journey that you’d like to share, well … you know how to find the comments section!

Thank you all for reading, and until next time.

Stay green and motivated!
